The challenge
Create a Contents Portal to deliver useful information and tools to IADN member Civil Society Organizations (400 aproximately all around America)
The solution
Develop a Web Portal with a reliable Multilanguage Content Management System (today in Spanish, English and Portuguese), using NET Framework (ASP.NET and C#) and SQL Server 2000.
Web Service develop to import on a daily basis news in XML from http://www.globalnews.com.ar/ (news are classified by country and imported by the content management system).
Some of the features developed are:
- Organizations Registration.
- Web Builder for member Organizations.
- NewsGroups.
- Contents and Organizations advanced search engines.
- Newsletters Administrations with daily delivery (InfoRID and IADN News). Depending on the contact language the system selects the version of the content to send.
